The mounts in the shape of rose decorate your belt which will suit to your costume of medieval citizen or noblemen. We know the rose as a symbol of English kings but this heraldic element we also can meet on coat of arms of German,  France or Italy knights and ladies. There were a legend that the rose used to grow in the Heaven's Garden without its thorns but they grew up again after the laps of virtue. The rose had two opposite meanings at a time. It symbolized celestial perfection and mundane desire, time and eternity, life and death, fertility and virginity.
