This buckle is suits to the knight belts of 14-early 15th centuries

It was made by the buckle of the belt from gravestone of Hugues de Chatelus_1399  (Roanne) and decorated of the figure of St. George who was very esteemed in medieval times as patron of kights and gentelmen.
